-The challenge for me is to express a feeling with a few stylized lines. \"Temptation\" is part of a series of paintings with love-theme that I painted 10 years ago. As a possible rug, it is supposed to be able to hang on the wall, according to the Middle East traditions. The original oilpainting measures 2x3 m.

-Utmaningen för mig är oftast att uttrycka en känsla med få stiliserade linjer. \"Frestelsen\" ingår i en serie tavlor med kärleksmotiv som jag målade för 10 år sedan. Den är målad pastost i olja. Som matta är den tänkt att även kunna hängas på väggen, enligt Mellanösterns traditioner. Originalmålningens mått är 2x3 m.

-I find inspiration from different countries. Already in childhood, when I lived partly in the Middle East, I was inspired by both the French and Oriental culture. Even ancient Egyptian images has affected me in the design of the human body. The French influences became more apparent for some years in the 80s when I studied design in Paris. Recent trips have gone to the Basque Country, where beautiful scenery and the local food culture give a lot of inspiration. Right now I am working with oils and prints for an exhibition in Biarritz (June 2014).
I am both born in and currently residents in Malmö.

-Inspirationen hämtar jag från olika länder. Redan under barndomen, då jag delvis bodde i Mellanöstern, inspirerades jag av både den franska och orientaliska kulturen. Även fornegyptiska bilder har påverkat mig i gestaltningen av människokroppen. De franska influenserna blev än tydligare under några år på 80-talet då jag studerade design i Paris. De senaste resorna har gått till Baskien, där den vackra naturen och matkulturen med dess marknader och närodlade råvaror influerar på olika sätt. Just nu arbetar jag med oljor och grafik för en utställning i Biarritz (juni 2014).
Jag är både född i och för tillfället boendes i Malmö.
